Simpson has achieved many recording milestones, acted in movies, and commercials and even has launched a line of hair and beauty products, and designed fragrances, shoes, and handbags for women. Simpson starred her first TV show with her ex-husband Nick Lachey called Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. Not long after Simpson filed for divorce on December 16, 2005, citing "irreconcilable differences."
