Mel Gibson is is an American actor, film director, producer and screenwriter. He comes from an "acting" family – his brother Donal is also an actor.

For first time in Hollywood, he starred in Mark Rydell. Soon he became famous and earned a lot of money. Gibson gained very friendly notices from pellicle critics when he first entered the cinematic representation, as well as comparisons to several classic movie stars.
